Star Wars Stamps

JulieCool Products

Remember when I wrote about the USPS Jedimaster mail box? Well now the USPS is going to be creating a new Star Wars stamp pane, and you get to vote on the one you want to be it’s own stamp sheet.

So go vote now! My vote went to Yoda. Who did you vote for?

DVDPlay DVD Movie Rental Kiosk

JulieCool Products

Have any of you ever checked out one of those DVDPlay DVD movie rental kiosk machines? They are the easiest thing in the world to use! Their web site says 60 seconds or less, so being the geeks we are, we just had to test that theory. And of course, we had to get it all on film.

So what do you think? Do you think these are better than going to a video store? I find them way cooler since I am already at the grocery store anyway. The day Borat come out, we drove around to three different video stores before finding it in the DVD machine. We will always go there first from now on.

Google Pack Changed?

JulieCool Sites

Google Pack I wrote about the Google Pack the other day and told you guys how I had added Ad-Aware SE Personal and Norton Antivirus. Now today I was over at TechBoyArdee and he was saying that they changed things up! They took off Ad-Aware SE Personal and replaced it with Spyware Doctor, and they took off Norton Antivirus, and replaced it with Norton Security Scan. I wonder why all this came about? Oh and guess what? My Google Pack just told me there was an update. Hmmm. I will report back.

Financial Software

JulieCool Business

Has your company recently consolidated many divisions or separate companies all together? There is a slew of problems that can come from that and sometimes you need help with financial reporting software that will keep it all organized and in one place. These software suites can be customized to fit your business needs exactly that way you need them. I really shy away from the financial side of business, but if I had cool software to work with I could learn to love it.

Littman Stethoscope

JulieCool Products

Just because you’re a super smart doctor or nurse, that doesn’t mean you need to look like a nerdy one wearing an old man looking littman stethoscope. They now come in hot new colors including purple and raspberry! You’ll be the hippest medical profession in your office. I think they would be especially cute for a pediatrician, and you can match the colors to your fancy scrubs.

Pilot G2

JulieCool Products

I have every color and size Sharpie known to man, but it’s not my favorite pen to write with. I just use them to label things and color in my sketch pad. Every time I go to an office supply store I have to add to my collection and buy the latest color, or the latest style. So what’s your favorite type of ink pens? Mine is by far the Pilot G2, medium point, blue ink.

Popuri.us

JulieCool Web Dev & SEO

popuri.us

Well it took me all day to get to the site Popuri.us, but I finally did. Apparently after being featured on Techcrunch, Digg, and Wired Blog, they were banned from scraping some of the stats they were fetching. They are now saying they should have it fixed within a few hours, so we’ll see.

What they have here is an online tool to check different stats for your website all in one glance. They have Google PageRank, Alexa Rank, Google Backlinks, Yahoo! Backlinks, Live Search Backlinks, Technorati inbound links, del.icio.us bookmarks, and Bloglines subscribers. You can also get Whois and DNS information with one more click.

popuri.us

As you can see, some of the results are not there yet. Once they get this sorted out, it should be a nice little tool.

Inkjet Cartridges

JulieCool Hardware

My HP printer is out of ink again. I swear it drinks it when I’m not looking. I always think I have extra inkjet cartridges on hand for times like this when I really need it, but I can’t find one single cartridge in the house, and I really don’t want to go out today to get any. So I looked around online and found Inkers which seem to have some pretty good prices.

I found the one I need for about $1.50 cheaper than any other place, and the shipping was free with a minimum order of $20 bucks. When you’re ordering inkjet or toner cartridges, it’s not too hard to reach that minimum. They also offer a money back guarantee for one full year. You can’t beat that.
