Of all the great things that have come out of the Web 2.0 error, my favorite would have to be the social networking sites. They give you the greatest advantage of meeting people that have the same interest as you, and you can make lifelong blogging buddies. Now there is another new one on line that connects science hobbyists, technology and gadget geeks, and science fiction fans.

They are set up a lot like MySpace, but this site isn’t for the teenager, or the internet bikini girls. It’s a MySpace for science hobbyists, technology geeks and science fiction fans only. So if you’re into science you need to head over there and sign up for a free account. You can also set up your own message forum for you and your friends to discuss the latest science technology, or the latest sci-fi movie.

I’ll bet the science fiction guys have just as many girls dressed up in skimpy outfits on those boards as the people on Myspace do.

The site looks interesting though. Something to keep an eye on. I’m sure your geekness is over there already teasing all the eggheads…lol

Oh no, did you sign up? hehehe ;)

I’m not sure this will really take off. There are already sites like digg and reddit that help share info about science and are social in nature. interesting idea.
