Digital Pocket Scales

JulieCool Products

I’m not 100% sure why someone would need digital pocket scales, but I guess if you have some need for it, a digital pocket size one is the way to go. They can be used to weigh fractions of a gram to hundreds of pounds. They come in 4 different colors, black, red, blue, and silver, just like any techno gadget should, and it comes with a back lite LCD screen. And don’t forget the fancy pleather carrying case that come with it, so your new toy doesn’t get all scratched up. With a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty, you can’t go wrong.

Oh I’m so glad we didn’t rush out and get Guitar Hero for our XBox 360 when it first came out, because now there is a wireless Les Paul controller, so I can do all my Eddie Van Halen sexy moves. Sweet!

Colocation Hosting

JulieCool Hardware

When I worked for my last company we relied on a colocation for our servers. They were not the greatest investment our company made as they once went down and we lost everything, with no backup. My boss was furious, and the sys admins were running for cover that day. They were not the well thought company though, and things like this seemed to happen a lot. Luckily not all businesses run like this, and there are some very reliable Canada Web hosting colocation facility, like Momentum.com. They are safe and secure, and offer service, reliability, and scalability like no other. And also recoverable backups!

Trade Show Swag

JulieCool Business

promotional marketing items Oh I just love all the swag I can pick up at the trade shows. I’ve gotten everything from a back massager, to mouse pads, to ball caps and magnets. Of course they were all printed with the companies name that handed them out. It’s a really good way to market your product, and get people to check out your trade show booth.

Gimmees.com has all kinds of promotional marketing items you could ever want for your companies next big trade show. You can put your company logo on almost anything you can think of including CD pocket holders, and USB hubs. Any item your logo will fit on, they will print it.

This information comes from the Flickr blog, so don’t panic if one of the greatest websites on the planet is down ;) I’m glad I read it there first. I would have freaked! But I know they would have said why on the page ;)

Projector Rentals

JulieCool Business

No matter what type of business you are in, you are going to need a projector at some point. Either for an internal sales meeting, or a demonstration you need to do for your next training session. Did you know you can also use them in your home? You can find a picture of a cartoon character, or some other image you want, and trace it onto the clear projector paper. Then just project the image on the wall to whatever size you want, trace it with a pencil, then paint it. Viola! You have the entire cast of South Park characters in your living room. HA! Buying a projector can be pricey, especially a high-quality LCD projector. At Projector123.com you can get a projector rentals, and have it shipped straight to your door by Fed Ex. So get to thinking about what you want to paint on your wall, rent a projector, then come back here and tell me about your project.

GeekySpeaky Contest

This Friday, June 1st, marks the date of a new contest that will happen on GeekySpeaky. She’s not announcing what it will be yet, so the suspense is killing me. She always runs fun promotions, so this one is promising to be another great one. I bet we can get her to drop some hints in the forum if we ask nicely enough. Make sure to check it out!
