For years scientist have been pondering over the truth, if any, there is to the supernatural. With all the shows on the Sci-Fi channel, and all their high-tech gadgets, I think if there really was some hard core evidence of the supernatural, we would know by now. Most of the shows I watch, can really be left up to speculation, and half the time I’m left wondering if I’m just looking at wicked camera tricks, and video editing. I’ve had one small experience with what possibly could be chalked up to the supernatural, and that was when my Grandfather “visited” me the night of his funeral. At times I have felt like something, some kind of presence was around me, but it doesn’t last long, and it’s easily forgotten.

There is a new movie coming out that is based on the short story by Stephen King called 1408. 1408 movie features John Cusack as man who lost his daughter. He begins to wonder if she is still around him, and starts to dabble in the research of the supernatural. He gets caught up in a story about the Dolphin Hotel, and goes to check it out. He’s greeted by the owner, who is played by Samuel L Jackson, which quickly tells him that 56 people have died in that room within an hour of checking in.

Cusack quickly checks in, and discovers some truth in the mystery of the hotel room, and the supernatural spirits that are around us all. Does he ever leave? There is only one way to find out. Go see the 1408 movie coming in theaters this summer.
