YouTube will soon be testing a new video identification technology. It will help identify videos uploaded to the site without the copyright owner’s permission. The two big players behind this are Time Warner, and Disney. Their goal is to get the tool out by the end of this year. Man, YouTube is going to suck now. Read more here.

Quite frankly, it seems to me that YouTube Video Fingerprinting Tools has more to do with Personal Video Players Thursday than yesterday. The Personal Video Players is just not as relevant to YouTube Video Fingerprinting Tools as I had originally thought….
