The Dead Sea
Julie
Cool Science
So we all know what the highest point in the world is right? It’s Mount Everest and it’s highest point is 29,035 feet above sea level. The lowest point in the world is the Dead Sea that sits at 1,312 feet below sea level. I was reading it’s Wiki entry on it and learned that dead sea salt comes from there, and is known for his healing powers against conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis, and wrinkles. I thought that was rather interesting that something as powerful as that comes from “the lowest point on earth.”
