I just signed up for Facebook a couple weeks ago. Mu husband was urging me to, so I thought I would give it a try. WOW! I’ve become an addict! The addon applications are so fun to look at and implement, that it’s worth it right there. And the nonexistent spam from wanna-be bikini models is a blessing. It’s like MySpace, for grownups. Really!

So once again…if you know me from the forums, or from my blogs, let’s be friends!

    I know what you mean… I didn’t “get it” for a while, then I sat down to try it out. Now I’m addicted to it.

    Don’t be surprised when you see cottage industries arise around Facebook junkie support groups.

    I recently blogged about the masses abandoning MySpace for Facebook. MySpace has just gotten trashy. Hopefully, the same won’t happen with Facebook.

    I still don’t get facebook, I guess I just find it to cluttered with all of the apps that people are installing on their pages. I think that the apps are practically as bad as the custom MySpace pages.

    It’s just another social networking site. I think self promotion would work there as you can join interest groups and such.

    I used to just use myspace, but now i use facebook too. When i first joined facebook, i wasn’t used to it, but now i like way more than myspace. I use it much more often now too. And i agree with Lisaw.. myspace has gotten pretty trashy.

    In Germany there is a similiar site to FaceBook. Of course it looks similiar too. And there are also many students addicted to that…

    Did anyone hear about how the source code for Facebook was leaked? That made a lot of people think twice before registering.
