I just wrote about Facebook a couple days ago. I joined after my husband kept telling me I should. Now that I am on there, I’ve been having all sorts of fun with the different applications. I like the Top Friends one, and the Booze Mail the best. I’ve been sending out drinks to everyone today. After all it is Friday.
I was reading a blogging buddy today, Owen, who wrote a nice piece on Make money by surfing on FaceBook. When I first heard about it, I thought it sounded like a great idea, but then I read his post.
It’s called CashCliques and all you do is click on the ads. You can click on 10 of them a day, and you get paid a penny for each click. You can even get your friends to sign up which makes you even more money every time they click.
Doesn’t this sound like a pyramid scheme??? I’m not touching it with a ten foot pole, and I’m going to assume Facebook is going to make them remove it as soon as they find out more about it. I would think it is against their TOS, although I haven’t checked myself.

Anything that pays you by clicks to ads, I tend to stay away from, for the sole reason that it’s tedious and there’s nothing more to it — Just clicking. Nope, I won’t go near it, either. That and with any site like that, you really have to feel it out and make sure that they are going to pay you the money you earned. Finding a legitimate site out there is hard. I do GPT sites, though, which are surveys and email and zip code submits. Some of those are legitimate, I’ve supplemented my income quite a bit with them.

Stay away. Far away. Reminds me of the days when the paid for surfing thing was in vogue. And yes I must admit we used to have a whole section on our site dedicated to it. But that was many moons ago.

I agree. It doesn’t sound good. If you proceed, do so with caution.
