Cool Sites
Hey bloggers, do you want to make some extra money from your blog? You need to try out LinkXL. You just submit your blog, choose your price, pick out hot keywords that you rank high for (if any) then install the handy WordPress plugin, and you are up and running!
The plugin adds contextual links into post that you have written already and there is nothing more for you to do other than sit back and generate a cash flow. I signed up a couple weeks ago, and I’ve already sold two links on one of my blogs. There is a minimum pay out of $100.00, so I’m hoping I can reach that amount soon!

Personally, I find those contextual intext ads a bit annoying–so I don;t use them. I also tend not to use blogs that do so it pays to take into account that usinfg more ads and paid linsk can reduce your traffic.

Hey, thanks for the shout out.
@veiri I think you are thinking of java script pop up Kontera type links. I find those annoying also. Our links are regular, natural html links so you would not know whether it is a link placed by the webmaster in his/her content or a link placed by an advertiser.
@capy - Are system will work on any apache hosted site. We have a PHP script you may be able to use. The WP plug in, just makes for a super easy set up for wordpress users that know how to install plugins..

I’d be curious to find out how much you make on this. There are just so many of them around at the moment, some of which disappear before you’ve made anything on them .. well, the proof of the pudding ..

The $100 minimum payout makes me a bit wary, and I do think link ads in a blog post cheapen the site.

I always need a tutor to help me out with these things. I can never figure them out after I sign up. I even found the plugin but that’s as far as I’ve gotten. It’s scary how non-techy I can be sometimes!

I recently signed up but haven’t done anything more as I wasn’t sure how it would conflict with the PPP ads. Can you exclude it from certain posts or are they all included if your keyword happens to be present?

I am wary of automatic anythings as you really don’t have a whole lot of control.

Owen, like I said the minimum payout is $100 and I haven’t gotten a check yet. I’ll report back on how it works out.

Heather - I “think” they are all included but you can check with John Lessnau. He’s from Link XL and commented a few comments above yours.

John Lessnau - thanks for stopping by. There are a couple more questions on my post if you’d like to address them.

Connie - some of these places do get a little hairy trying to figure out, I agree. There are still things I don’t understand with the majority of sites that I have signed up with. LOL!
