For some reason, I’m craving this stuff!  So far I’ve only had two sacks, PB&J and Pizza, but I’ve been waiting to go back to Fry’s to grab a few more.  Here is the PB&J Deboxing I did a few months ago.  What is the geekiest thing you’ve eaten?

The Gorilla Tripod has three flexible legs. You can bend these legs in any way that you want. You can wrap them around things, bend them to fit odd angles, and you can even move them all together for tight storage spaces.

The Gorilla Tripod fits easily into a purse, backpack, or a large pocket. After traveling, you can extend the legs to fit just about any surface. Gorilla is surprisingly stable, so you don’t have to worry about your camera or other device falling and getting damaged.

You can attach your camera using a standard universal 1/4-20 screw. This is perfect if you are just looking for a normal tripod. Or, if you are a little more adventurous, it is perfect for taking wild and crazy photos at unusual angles.

You can attach the tripod to any surface – any pole, floor, incline, etc. I would imagine that it would be great for making skate videos and other fun activities. Imagine how much cooler the action of grinding a rail would look if the camera was positioned somewhere under the rail. You can truly achieve almost any camera angle and look like a pro with the Gorilla Tripod.

Other than functioning well, the Gorilla Tripod looks great. If you are using in public, especially in a creative way, you will probably have a few people asking you where you got it. It is sometimes difficult to manipulate into the perfect position, but it gets easier with practice. The legs can be hard to move at times. With a little patience, you can get it to do just about anything.

Are you looking for Ashton’s camera? The Nikon Coolpix L18 is a cool new camera that will fit any budget. It includes a powerful 8 Mega Pixels of photo resolution and a low price tag. It’s not the strongest camera, but it is definitely very compact and not very expensive.

As I mentioned, it takes photos at 8 Mega Pixels and displays them on a 3.0” LCD screen (a bit bigger than most cameras these days which have 2.4” LCDs). The images that it takes are colorful and vibrant, definitely high quality images. It’s perfect for the casual photo shooter who wants to save a little green but still take high resolution images.

It may not have many of the advanced features that some more expensive cameras may have, such as digital image optimization, but it is still packed with great features. It includes Anti-shake AE, a technology that automatically adjusts the ISO settings for the amount of light in the room. It actually doesn’t help that much with shaking, despite the name and description of the feature.

It also includes In-Camera Red-Eye Fix and enhanced Face-Priority (for a maximum of 12 faces). The camera removes red eye from images automatically! You never have to go through image editing again, this camera will solve all of your problems with red eyes.

The Nikon Coolpix L18 supports SD-HC cards, so if you are looking to buy this camera you should probably purchase a card along with it. SD cards are fairly standard, so you might already have a compatible card (from a previous camera or camcorder). You can always expand later.

The Coolpix also takes sharp videos and sound – perfect for capturing moments longer than a photograph. It isn’t a professional camera, and it doesn’t try to be. It’s a light camera when it comes to features and a light camera when it comes to price.

There are two great advantages to this camera over comparable point and shoot models. The first one being the larger than average LCD screen, measuring in at 3. Inches. Next, a high resolution of 8 Mega Pixels compared to the 6 or 7 mp’s you might find in similarly priced models elsewhere.

It’s perfect for those that want to capture moments of their life without emptying their wallet. It’s available in multiple colors – blue, red, black, silver, and more. This is the camera for anyone who likes to save moments of their life while also staying within their budget.

Buy the Cloud b Twilight Constellation Night Light at Amazon.com for $21.45 — ASIN: B000BNQC58

This little guy is both functional and cute as a night light. I’m not sure I recommend him for a baby’s room. It’s not really what I would consider baby friendly, unless you have it up and out of reach and also out of sight from your littlest one. And in a way that defeats the purpose of having a cute nightlight for baby. It is made by Cloud b and they are experts at baby products, but personally there are just too many parts inside to make this little guy work, I wouldn’t be comfortable with letting the baby have it at night.

Now for slightly older children this could work as a night light. Or you could try what we did and put it in the family room to light up the stars while you’re watching a movie on family movie night. It also serves as a soft light when little ones get up in the middle of the night and wander through the room to the kitchen. They can press down on Twilight Turtle as they pass through the living room and he’ll light up for 45 minutes, giving them plenty of time to get a drink and head back to bed.

Twilight Turtle comes with a constellation guide to help you learn about the stars you’re seeing, an adoption certificate and even includes the necessary three “AAA” batteries. You’ve got your choice of three light color settings blue, green, and white. If you have colored walls I recommend using the white setting, and if you’re walls are white then the green and blue work pretty well.

One of the quirks about Twilight Turtle is that the higher up he is, the better result you’re going to have. And if he’s near a wall you won’t get to see a full constellation. If you’re like most people you probably don’t have a tall dresser sitting in the middle of the room to put this little guy on for your child. Putting him in the middle of the floor gives you blurred bits of light throughout the room. To solve this dilemma we put ours on top of the television in the family room and while we don’t get the full constellations it does look like mostly like stars on the ceiling and wall. Basically, just don’t expect a professional grade planetarium from a stuffed turtle and you won’t be disappointed.
