So who’s working on some cool applications for MySpace? With the release of the MySpace API I can only imagine developers are jumping all over the chance to make something cool. I know my husband is gearing up to make some type of cool application like they have on Facebook. MySpace has some catching up to do, and this was a step in the right direction for them.

My son bought Guitar Hero 2 for his XBOX 360 over the weekend, and I’m already fighting him for my turn to play. My fingers hurt today, and my wrist are throbbing from playing. I’m not that great at it, but it’s damn fun to play! Have you seen this 8 yr old Guitar Hero God??? This kid is amazing! He even turns the other way and doesn’t watch the screen. DAMN!

I just wrote about Facebook a couple days ago. I joined after my husband kept telling me I should. Now that I am on there, I’ve been having all sorts of fun with the different applications. I like the Top Friends one, and the Booze Mail the best. I’ve been sending out drinks to everyone today. After all it is Friday.
I was reading a blogging buddy today, Owen, who wrote a nice piece on Make money by surfing on FaceBook. When I first heard about it, I thought it sounded like a great idea, but then I read his post.
It’s called CashCliques and all you do is click on the ads. You can click on 10 of them a day, and you get paid a penny for each click. You can even get your friends to sign up which makes you even more money every time they click.
Doesn’t this sound like a pyramid scheme??? I’m not touching it with a ten foot pole, and I’m going to assume Facebook is going to make them remove it as soon as they find out more about it. I would think it is against their TOS, although I haven’t checked myself.

I’ve always loved the Dateline NBC’s series To Catch a Predator with Chris Hansen, and last night I caught his new show To Catch an I-Jacker. What they did was plant iPod’s all over the United States, with their special software packaged with it. The software requires you to register your iPod online, and wouldn’t you know it? Almost all of them registered it with their real name and address, making it easy for Chris and his team to track down the thieves.
Then of course in Chris Hansen style he confronted them by saying they won free MP3’s and took them into the prize patrol RV to retrieve their prize. Once there, he showed them the hidden video of them “jacking” the iPod in a public place. HA! I always get such a kick out of people who are confronted like that, just after the lie about how they got the iPod. It was great!
Did any of you catch it? Great series!

Oh I forgot to mention that I did do a few searches for the iPhones on Ebay already. I haven’t seen any phones actually pop up there yet, but people have grabbed some really good free email addresses and are selling them for around $60. Some people have grabbed some pretty cool domain names also, but you’d have to get a student loan consolidation just to able to purchase one. For instance, iphoneshops.com is a buy it now for $25K.

YouTube will soon be testing a new video identification technology. It will help identify videos uploaded to the site without the copyright owner’s permission. The two big players behind this are Time Warner, and Disney. Their goal is to get the tool out by the end of this year. Man, YouTube is going to suck now. Read more here.

With the gas prices going out of control, and people’s paychecks staying the same as they have been for years, it’s no wonder people are trading in their old gas guzzling used cars for a more greener alternative like the Hybrids, or the electric cars. Here is a really great list with wonderful reviews on the Greenest cars on earth.
Hybrids
- Toyota Prius
- Honda Civic IMA
- Lexus RX-400h
- Lexus GS-450h
- Toyota Hybrid X
Electric Cars
- G-Wiz
- Sakura Maranello4
- NICE Mega City
- Micro-Vett Ydea
- Elettrica
I’ve heard of some of the Hybrids before, but never the electric ones. Please review the website for more in depth details about each vehicle, including pictures. You’re going to be amazed at some of these gas mileage reports.

I got an email this morning that GameFly is raising it’s rate an extra $1.00 a month, effective on all accounts billed on or after June 18th. They are basing this decision on the rate hike in flat rate postal fees, and the rising cost of gaming consoles. This is fine, and I can understand it. They haven’t had a rate increase in the 3 years that I have had an account, so all is still good. Plus I love their rewards program. I already have $15 bucks sitting in my account I need to spend.
And while I’m at it, if you’d like to sign up with them, just let me know in my comments, and I can send you an invite. All I need is 5 people to sign up and I can get a free Wii!!!
